Cafeteria

Cotton laughed a bit and turned over to Shar. "How are you holding up hun?" She asked.

“Honestly, I’m not sure how I’m holding up.” Shar stirred her fish and asparagus around her plate. “Can we just...I don’t know.” Shar was deep in thought. “Is there anything that we know about Destiny that we could use against her? Like something that Gabriel’s parents don’t know about?”

“I don’t know if this is the best idea. I know I can up with it but...” Shar let out a tired sigh. “I just really have no idea what to do. Can’t really wait till the part of the wedding where they say ‘If there is anyone how thinks these two should not get married, speak now or forever hold your peace.’”

"True, has Gabriel tried to talk to his parents? Maybe that's what you need to do. You need to convince Gabriel's parents that you two are really in love and nothing can break that." Cotton adds.

"Not that I know of, I'll text him and ask" Shar sent Gabriel a text saying 'Hey Gabriel, I was just wondering if there was any way your parent's would let you back out of the wedding? What if we were to talk with them? Would that be about to change their minds at all? "There it's sent. I don't think I knew how much this was all gonna stress me out."

“Thank guys. I never thought I’d get friends like you guys.”

"Well, I think they are gonna be using the cafeteria for a 'new students' meeting thing. We should be going."

"Erm-erm, everyone settle down please!" I exclaimed as I got onto a podium in front of the cafeteria. "I hope you're all enjoying Alfea College so far. As you all know, lessons start at 9:30 AM. Please make sure that you are not late for your lessons, and if you are going to be late, make sure to email or call the school counsellor, Ms. Griselda." I explained as I looked at the audience of students.

"As you all know, the first year of your education is extremely important because it will decide if you pass onto the next year or not. In order to pass this year, you will need to earn your Charmix. By earning your Charmix, you will be able to make your powers stronger and unlock new spells." I said.

Diamond was with Faera and Sunshine. "Girls, did you hear that? I can't wait to earn my Charmix! Ever since I was a little girl, all I could dream about was earning my fairy transformation so I could fight evil monsters!"

"I know! Me too!" Sunshine replied enthusiastically with a bright smile on her face for the first time. She felt really happy to be in a fairy school, she felt like she was finally in a safe space.

"I don't kno-" Diamond was about to say until she heard the sound of a mic stinging. The speaker had something else to say.

"Although Charmix is the first transformation, of many, you'll ever receive...it won't be easy. In order to earn your Charmix you must conduct the act of passion. Fighting for what you love will activate your Charmix." I explained as I looked onto the crowd and smiling at them before ending the announcement.

Sunshine pitched into the conversation. "I recommend we don't stress about it too much." She said with a comforting smile and then proceeded. "We'll figure it out eventually." She assured.

"Thank you all for listening. You may now all enjoy the delicious food our cooking staff has made! I hope you all have a wonderful year at Alfea!" I said as I ended my announcement and stepped off the pedestal.

As Diamond drooled over her plate of pasta and steak, she replied to Faera's question. "Well, my powers revolve around ice. I can literally freeze anything." Diamond said as she looked over at a glass of lemonade and froze it.
